The Panier Gourmand is very esay to find as it’s just off the Nyon highway exit towards Nyon direction and is a farm run by a nice family. They offer products from their farm, eggs, meat and wine.  In winter they’re open only Friday afternoon from 4pm.

La Ferme Courtois located in Versoix near the French border. Has a nice selection of fruits and vegetables, aswell as some fish and meats.

La Petite Lignière is located between Gland and Dully near the Lignière Clinic. They’re specialised in biological products. They’re open seasonaly.

La Ferme des Pralies is in Arnex sur Nyon and has a good selection of varied fruits and eggs.

The Weber Farm in Gingins is known to have good food quality as well as meat from their farm. It’s after the Shummacher stable coming from Arzier towards Nyon. They’re open on Friday from 3pm. They also have a stand in the Nyon market on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The O’Fruitier farm specialized in biological fruits is a good place to get your fruit fix, also in winter as they’re open everyday.

Markets

There are some good opportunities to get good local products at local markets, such as:

The Nyon market taking place on the Grande rue on Wednesdays and Thursday from 7am-12am, Saturdays from 7am-1pm.

The Divonne market just across the border in France every Sunday from 7am-1pm.

The Ferney market towards Geneva is even bigger than the Divonne one and takes place every Saturday from 7am-1pm.

There are numerous market places in Geneva on different days of the week to find out about them click on the following link.

Boucheries/Butchers

The place to go for good meat is La Cézille Boucherie they have good quality meats (grass fed beef in summer/silage fed in winter/some grains) that they tend to get locally and also some good quality canadian wapiti or french duck. They also have fresh eggs and very good smoked salmon. They can tell you where the meat they sell is coming from. Next door there is a restaurant where you can taste all their specialities.

There is also a boucherie in Genolier in the center of the village.

Supermarkets

Migros, Coop and Manor are all good quality supermarkets and they are everywhere. But if you want to stock on good quality nuts, fresh wild fish and other sources of protein then you have to pay a visit to Aligro, it’s a bit far but worth it! Good quantities and matching  quality. You can get 2kg bags of frozen fruit or shrimp. 1kg bags of almonds for 15.-Frs and other good deals. Get their card and you’ll get an even greater discount. There is one in Geneva near the Vernets sports center, just off the highway at the Accasias exit. The other one is near Lausanne in Chavanne-Rennens.
